SGYAA Tackle Football Registration is OPEN!
Registration Deadline: June 1, 2026
Any football player registered after June 1st will be required to pay a $50 late fee.
Football players will not be able to choose their number or have their last name on their uniform if they are registered late.
Registration Cost: $250
Mandatory Raffle Buy Out: $60 per child in the organization

Equipment Deposit
A postdated check for $300 dated 12/1/2026 must be written to SGYAA and handed in at uniform fittings for the helmet, shoulder pads and game day pants. If the equipment is returned in not useable condition the check will be deposited.


Ages:
Rinks: Kindergarten (must be 6 by August 1st), First, Second & Third grade
Ponies: Fourth & Fifth grade
Midgets: Sixth & Seventh Grade (cannot turn 14 before 8/31)
 
 
Game Day Uniform:
Included in sign-up price.

Mandatory Raffle Fundraiser:
A raffle buy out is included with registration. $60 per child in the organization
Raffle tickets will be distributed at Uniform Fittings and may be sold for $10 each. Families are welcome to purchase or sell additional tickets. Drawing will be September 12th.

Requirements:
A copy of your child’s birth certificate, report card must be uploaded at time of registration.
Physicals are to be completed and uploaded by July 13th or your child will not be able to practice, and the physical must have been done this year. You must use a PIAA form or our YCYFA form located on our website that has been filled out by the doctor. These are the only forms that will be accepted. (This is required only for football players)
 
To upload physicals after you are registered:
1. Log into your account
2. Click on the pencil beside your child’s name.
3. Click the + beside Physical and upload document.
4. Submit 
 

Families are required to complete 3 volunteer hours throughout the season. These segments include assisting with the concession stand, time clock, chain crew, field set-up/clean-up, and announcer. Our program is solely run by volunteers. By not committing to this requirement, it is possible that games will be canceled. More information on this will be communicated at the beginning of our season by the Board. A postdated check for $200 dated for November 8, 2026, must handed in at uniform fittings for volunteer hours. If you do not complete the required volunteer hours the check will be cashed at the end of the season.


Uniform Fittings:
May 2nd- 12:00-2:00 pm
May 27th- 5:00-7:00pm


Workout Wednesdays!
June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th 5:30-7:30 on practice field


Jets Football Camp:
Week 1: July 13th - 16th from 5:30 - 7:00pm
Week 2: July 20th - 23rd (Heat Acclimations) 5:30 - 7:00pm
July 20th & 21st Helmet only
July 22nd & 23rd Helmet and Shoulder pads


Practice:
Practice starts: July 27th in Full Equipment from 5:30 - 7:00pm


Games (Full Game Schedule will be released once we receive it from YCYFA)

SGYAA Tackle Football Cheerleading Registration is OPEN!
Registration Deadline: June 1, 2026
Any cheerleader registered after June 1st will be required to pay a $50 late fee.
Registration Cost: $200 - This fee covers everything required for the season!
Mandatory Raffle Buy Out: $60 per child in the organization
A payment plan is available: $130 is due at registration, and the remaining $130 is due by July 1st.


Ages:
Kindergarten (must be 5 by August 31st) through 7th Grade

Season Schedule:
  • Cheerleading practice begins July 28th every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:30pm - 7pm until the end of August. Beginning September 1st cheerleading practice will be every Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm -7pm.
  • Game schedule will be released once received from YCYFA.
  • Cheerleaders will participate in the SG Homecoming Parade and SG Halloween Parade!


Volunteer Hours:
  • Each family must complete 3 volunteer hours during the season. Volunteer opportunities include concession stand, time clock, chain crew, announcer, field setup/cleanup. Our program is 100% volunteer run and these roles are essential for game days.
  • A postdated check for $200 dated 11/8/2026 must be written to SGYAA for volunteer hours. If volunteer hours are not completed the check will be deposited at the end of the season.


Uniform Fittings:
A SignUpGenius link will be posted in the Band App to schedule a fitting time on May 9th or June 6th.

At the end of registration there will be a prompt to click a link to join our Team Band App, This will be our main form of communication throughout the season, so please be sure to join.
